Point No Point Beach

Every year we try to get to Point No Point beach. We always wait until August when it's the warmest time of the year. Yesterday, we took our annual trip. We had a blast!! We missed dad, but I'm sure the girls will help him "make it up to them" as soon as he gets home.

One of our "Girls Only Club" families joined us this year. Thanks for coming, we loved having you there! Maybe we can consider our hubbies next year....maybe.

It was hard to leave at the end of the day. But when we realized that the incoming tide was going to force us to move everything (again!), we decided to call it a day.

Can't wait till next August!

Swimming Next Door

When our neighbor's grandchildren come to visit every summer, the kids all play together quite a bit. On the warm days, the squirrels are often invited to go swimming with them. They all have a great time!

I FINALLY figured out how to do a slide show!!! Although I have much more to learn, I enjoyed messing around with it. This slide show is just some of our experiences while in Utah. In fact, we were so busy having fun that I didn't take as many pictures as I had hoped.

Thank you, Korin & John, for the fun day at your cabin. It really was great to be with the whole family & reconnect. And of course, the four wheeler rides were awesome! Thanks Nate, for the best dinner rolls. Yummmmmmm!!!

Thanks, Trent & Shelly for having the girls over for a much wanted (& needed) day in your swimming pool. They still talk about how much fun it was & it was really hard to get them out of your house!!

Thank you, Tawnya for having Brynn stay at your house. She loves it & will never happily give it up.

And Amber, thanks for sharing your girls. They are growing so fast that it's hard to keep up! Give Addie a kiss for me.

The "Club"

It feels like forever since our last blog!! Now that life has settled down a bit, I hope to do some catching up. We spent a week in Utah, but I haven't blogged about it yet. But that's in the works. We've kept busy this summer by doing a few things here & there. But mostly the squirrels are able to provide their own entertainment. The most recent example is what they did just this last Sunday afternoon. While mom was taking a nap, they decided to have a "club". They call it the ArtsyFartsy-FartsyArtsy-OopsyPoopsy-PoopsyOopsy Club. Where did they come up with this??? I was afraid to ask. However, I think it is hilarious! I think the pictures tell it all!!
