Edible Crayons

These squirrels like to bake.  Not just bake, but bake & DECORATE.  Emma has had her eye on a crayon cake picture for months now.  She insisted on making her own birthday cake.  I didn't complain:)  She did a great job!
By cutting up a 9x13 cake and some ice cream cones, she made frosting and got right down to business.  She cut the cones in half and then laid them on the "trimmed" cake to create the crayon tips.  Colorful frosting takes care of it!  And it was yummy, too:)

"I Am 16, Going on 17..."

Let me just start by stating:  BRYNN IS SPOILED!!!  Because it's such a special birthday, Brynn chose to have her dinner with the family at Blazing Onion in Gig Harbor.  YUMMM! When we got home, the ENTIRE porch was covered with the following items:
The red flowers were from her Mia Maid
class & leaders.  Beautiful!
The orange roses were given to her at school by a friend.

16 red roses & huge gift bag with balloons tied to it.

Inside that huge gift bag was a note saying:
Happy Birthday Brynn!  From: Your New Friends
(We suspect those new friends are her High School Volleyball team mates:)
Also inside that gift bag was this cute snow tiger stuffed animal and a GPS!!!!
Yes, a GPS.  Spoiled!
AND this beautiful snow globe!
This is what the kitchen counter looked like with all her loot from throughout the day.
I TOLD you she is SPOILED!!

From the family, she got a bag,
 North Face Jacket
Matching bra & panty (she's been dying for these for weeks!),
Sandal shoes for pre-volleyball games/practice wear.
She got toe rings, gift cards, DVD, perfume and more!!
Brynn LOVES swedish fish.  So I made the number 16 out of
them & then gave her the remaining from the bag.
She was happy!

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY BRYNN!!

15 Years Old!

IT HAS BEGUN.  The time in Brynn's life where she looks forward to the day she can begin driving!  Only 6 months after her 15th Birthday & she is counting down:)

She was given a HUGE makeup bag.  This girl loves her makeup!

She's also a fan of Sharpie Markers.

Can't have a HUMONGUS makeup bag without a mirror, right?

She really enjoyed shooting with the bow and arrows at girls camp this year.  In my spectacular knowledge of such things, she got a compound bow.  Um.........I returned it the next day & Terry ordered a real bow (long) online.

Just so the squirrels & bunnies would remain fairly safe in our yard, it seemed prudent that she have a "target" to aim for.

As soon as her long bow came, she was out in the yard with it!
NICE SHOT, BRYNN!

Happy 15th Birthday
(Sept. 6th, anyway:)
